Grown Up Groove Jazz Piano

Move those fingers and explore the jazz process. Annie will focus on the formation of chords, some common chord progressions, chart reading, melodic variation and improvisation techniques. Students will also work on another essential aspect of jazz – timing and ‘feel’ – that can best be developed in a group setting, by playing with each other. A joyful experiment.
Requirements: Ages 16 and up. Grade 2 Conservatory or equivalent.
Maximum: 5 students
