Xylomaniacs

This energetic class is for anyone who can count to four! Think of the difficulties when starting to learn the violin or clarinet: at first you can’t even make a decent sound. With xylophones, all you have to do is pick up a mallet, strike a bar and presto, you’re making pleasing sounds. This music emphasizes community, beautiful polyrhythmic melodies and infectious rhythms that encourage participation by everyone, no matter what your musical experience.
Requirements: Ages 16 and up, no experience necessary.
